Bulder Dam scene

That scene in retro spect seemed like it was long. But nowadays we you veiw the film at a much older age you see how quickly it shot and lasted. I wish now it was longer.

They could've thrown something in. A battle sequence between Manning and the Soldiers involving getting shot up an awful lot. Maybe a saying "good-bye" to Carol just before he drops or an "I Love You," quote. Something that could've made us feel more sorry for him.

Anyone Agree?

My problem is they made his mind go too soon. I did feel sorry for him, but would have felt more so if there had been more gentler moments between him, Carol and those treating him. It all seemed too rushed and didn't give the viewer time to fully feel for any of them.
