After 25 years of searching I finally own a copy of this marvellous movie. You can purchase a copy from http://www.learmedia.ca/aboutus.php.

This is a Canadian firm that specialises in hard-to-get films. I live in Australia and I received my DVD copy within a fortnight. I am delighted.

Thanks VERY MUCH for the tip to finding this film! (I've been looking for this film for years and years and years.) I ordered and my copy arrived yesterday. The movie looks good--the company did a good job of transferring it to DVD.

(I'd love to see a full-blown special edition by Criterion.)

I wonder whatever happened to the Region 2 (British) official version that was supposed to be released.

From September 2009, Sony Pictures UK have released this film on DVD. The quality is the best I have found for this movie. You can purchase it at Moviemail.
