The Goon Show

At first I was confused to learn that this film postdated the Goon Show episode "The Yehti" by two years. Surely, I thought, the Goons must have been spoofing The Abominable Snowman?

But, of course, this movie is a remake of the Sunday Night Theatre episode "The Creature" - which was broadcast a few months BEFORE "The Yehti". So, yes, the Goons DID spoof The Abominable Snowman two years before it was made!

Brilliant movie, brilliant Goons episode too.
