Yeah I see that and it's also showing on the same night H-Man, and The Lost Missile which sound like 2 other sci fi flicks that are not shown on TV too much. I'm setting my DVR!

I had never even heard of this movie until I caught the March 31st broadcast. It was certainly an interesting premise, and was a pretty straightforward piece of science fiction, not cheesy at all. What got me was the special effect of the tray floating down. I had this recorded to my DVR, and I went back and forth looking for wires. That tray came straight down, and settle perfectly into the recessed table top. There was no swinging or jiggling as it landed. And I didn't see any wires. I wondered how that was accomplished. The containers themselves were pretty sophisticated in design, and didn't have twinkling lights on it to make it look "futuristic." The segment in which the alien abducts the humans was efficient and created an atmosphere of strangeness that surprised me. It was good science fiction.
