If "this creature has no heart, and no lungs?"


If that's true, why do we see it breathing, with the chest rising and falling?

It must have some kind of circulation and respiratory system, just not a heart and lungs as we think of them. There are lots of earth creatures with alternative ways of making a living, so it was actually pretty good of the writers to put that detail in, even if they didn't explain it. Now as to how a creature from another planet happened to evolve two arms and legs, and facial features similar to ours, well... 
