The Worst Swordsman in All California

I thought it was funny that in season 2, in the episode "An Affair of Honor", Diego has to fight a duel, and he contemplates reenacting his clumsy swordfighting technique from the first season. This is funny because the person he needs to duel is played by the same actor as the man he fought in season 1!

Banana: A yellow fruit. Also, a kind of pudding. A delicious pudding.

Funny indeed . But I think his plan was to fight Avila without using all of his ability pretty much like he did with Monastario in "The Fall of Monastario" , not pretending to be as clumsy as he did with Martinez . It's ironic that Tony Russel ( Russo ) had also auditioned for the role of Diego/Zorro along with Guy and Britt Lomond .

Did you also know that Tony Russo actually played Zorro in some Italian movie back in the 60's? I think it was called "Behind the Mask of Zorro"

reply

Yes , I had previously found about this on his resume . I'm sure the movie must suck , but I would be curious to see it . I'm actually trying to see all the incarnations of the character .

Actually it's not that bad. There is no Don Diego, but if you put your mind to it you might enjoy it.

Where did you see the movie , leroy ? Do you know where I could possibly watch or buy it , by any chance ?
