Whats your favorite episode?
I know it is very difficult to choose just one, but if you have to, which one you choose to?
My favorite one would be “The Deadly Bolas” and yours?
I kind of like the first two episodes that deal with his origin, but I still remember the episodes with the mountain man from the initial airing when I was a kid. (The "Deadly Bolas" was really good though. I watched that episode just two weeks ago, in fact).
shareAlmost every episode is good for a particular reason. The "Deadly Bolas" is very good due to comedy and final action. The following chapter ("The Well of Death") is very tender (Sargeant García and Paco caring honestly each other), great final action and comedy resolution. A very very good episode.
I also recommend "Welcome to Monterrey" and "Zorro Rides Alone". The scene when Sargeant Garcia is digging his own grave is hilarious. The action and intrigue is highly achieved in both episodes too. And are not the unique episodes I admire the most.
It's good to find someone who appreciates this series as much as I do. I still think Zorro looks so cool in his black outfit running gracefully over the rooftops with cape billowing behind him, or smiling while fencing so effortlessly. Whether it was Guy Williams and/or a stunt man, he moved so easily and light on his feet, that it was fascinating just to watch.
