Whirlybirds, what a great action show!

Hey Whirlybird fans out there, this was a great show for its time, I remember while growning up how excitied I was to watch this show not to mention, kinda dreaming I was a partner with Chuck and P.T. in their 1959-Space age uniforms that included that great logo. I'd like to say thanks to National Helicopter Engineering Company for the great piloting job on the show, it oftened kept me glue to my seat. Well is there anyone out there that remember's this show as I do?

Fans of the Whirlybirds TV show may be interested to know of "The New Whirlybirds" who travel many places in the USA with a Bell-47 helicopter and memorabilia of the old TV Show. There are two re-enactors of the original cast "Chuck" and "P.T." who visit childrens hospital wards, air shows, and the like, introducing a new generation to the Bell-47 helicopter, the worlds's first commercially certificated helicopter. Just to an internet search for the "New Whirlybirds" for more information.

I remember Kenneth Tobey in this show. I could have sworn he was a regular. I must be losing it.

I remember Ken Tobey as being a regular on this show as well. Why does IMDB only lost him in one episode? That's got to be wrong!

Tobey was a regular. The IMDB entry means there are some details on IMDB of an episode in which Tobey appeared.
I agree, the way it works is confusing. They should list all the regulars, then those who were guests and appear in episodes in IMDB. Mow you get regulars missed out completely on the main page for some shows!

For a kid growing up that was crazy about flying, Sky King and Whirlybirds was a grand treat.

I can remember watching this on Saturday mornings on the BBC during the early 80's.
