Not that much of a fan of the 90 minute episodes

After completing S7 I have come to a decision that I'm just not much of a fan of the longer shows. To me they seem very stretched, noticeably in fact...and I'm finding them tedious. There's a ton of filler, and a lot of it is obviously there to chew up screen time.

The biggest thing though is that I don't think the stories are really that great. There are a couple of very good episodes, but when compared overall with the early seasons they don't hold up in terms of quality.

There was a very good 90 minute one though. It involved what the train thought was a serial killer. Several people were murdered. Turns out it was a man who was insane and every time he'd hear a loud type screeching sound he'd murder. Somebody was sharpening an axe, he killed someone. Some of the train's children were screaming at play. He murdered. A horse whineed/sp too long/too loud, he murdered.

It was fine.
