Maybe my last question on IMDB (Sucks!!)--

Who can remember a client that Perry defended (successfully, of course!) that was, shall I say, less than pleasant?--maybe it wasn't to the point that you wished they had been convicted but somebody just not the typically sympathetic individual that came to him for help?

I seem to recall a couple of those personality types, but I cannot recall any more details. Now you've got me thinking. :-)

The immediate Accused who came to mind was Robert H. Harris in TCOT Torrid Tapestry. That episode is one of the several that really really offend me, because we see a woman being hit, hard, in the face (by Harris).

Interesting thing: no male is ever back-handed on "Perry Mason." We see men shot at close range, and I think we never see a woman shot close range. But no man is ever smashed in the face.

(And, as for the thread topic, yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. I've been wondering: What will be THE final post, and on WHICH message board will it appear?)

In TCOT Terrified Typist, Perry's client turned out to be the murderer.

The client appeared to be the finest gentleman, and fooled Perry for most of the epsiode, but in the end was revealed to be the vilest of villains.

TCOT Velvet Claws- Patricia Barry's character as she called him Perry, darling!

Absolutely! She was more of a psychopath than Lola.

I didn't think Barry was the defendant but her boyfriend was. I avoid that episode because I hated Barry's character as I usually did with her roles. Perry had several clients I wouldn't have minded seeing convicted, particularly the ones Perry had to beg to let him help them.

Yeah, Eva Belter was the epitome of the odious client. At one point she tried to cover her butt by implicating Perry as the killer.

In response to hilary's earlier comment, we see the Dennis Patrick character break the jaw of the Robert Rockwell character in TCOT Deadly Toy.

IMDb message boards, I'll miss you.

Do we see it, though? I'll have to re-watch that scene. I thought we just saw Rockwell fall backwards (whereas in Torrid Tapestry, Difficult Detour, and one I cannot recall due to a senior moment ), we see men definitely going for a woman's face.

Emoticons, I'll miss you. 
