Boards doomed; goodbye

As the chorus sang in South Pacific, "now ain't that too damn bad". IMDB boards go dark in 2 weeks.

I will miss the 12 years of daily visits and cameraderie with movie fans here who have added so much to how I saw and knew film.

Spoze we could have seen this coming when Amazon bought IMDB. There's nothing a corporation can't phookup just a matter of when they get around to it. For here, the time is now.

Goodbye to so many memorable folks I will never see again.

I think most of the show's fans here would be comfortable at sitcomsonline.com.
They have a separate message board within each decade for every sitcom.

I finally read that important message and will miss all our shmoozing about Wally, Beaver, Ward, June, Eddie, Larry etc. I will be visiting Sitcoms Online too to get my Beaver conversation. I've been on the boards a long time and will miss all the posters unless you visit Sitcoms Online. I've got a trivia question you'll find on another thread.
