Cons: -- in a savage land

There are a number of times in this series when Paladin's logic is skewed, or the writing in some way hits a bump. I love this show, but the missteps are intriguing when you consider how good the writing usually was.

Started this thread for anyone to discuss a particular episode or example.

Also a previous thread highlights particularly GOOD shows, PROS: A KNIGHT WITHOUT ARMOR ...

SHADOW OF A MAN

Great show, but in the finale Paladin shifts the blame upon Walter Burke ... a s**t-stirrer who set up the whole confrontation. But when you think about it, the real tragedy rests more on PALADIN's shoulders! He had to defend himself and kill the man he was supposed to help. But the guy came after Paladin to defend his honor -- he felt like a cuckold, and Paladin didn't dissuade the wife from throwing herself at him.
