Monte Rock III on American Bandstand 1975

Monte Rock III was a flamboyant latino who had a propensity to wear boa's and hats with wide brims, etc. He also played the dj in "Saturday Night Fever", and was a frequent guest on the old tonight show w/Johnny Carson. At the advent, of Disco, Monte became the Disco Tex with his Sex-o-lettes. He had a semi-hit with with "I wanna Dance with Choo". On May 31, 1975In one of the most memorable bandstand episode of it's entire history, while singing Monte Rock left the bandstand stage and went into the bleachers where the kids sat, and made them all get and joined him on stage. Good fun was had by all the bandstand regulars, even Dick Clark was speechless.
