'revealing mistake'

Under "goofs" someone mentioned a discrepancy in geography, saying that although the film is set in Texas, during the scene in the airplane it's "as if they're flying from new york." this is reasonable, inasmuch as the first scenes in the film ARE set in new york. Lauren Bacall's character is working for an ad agency that manages Hadley Oil, and Kyle and Mitch have come to the city for a steak sandwich at "21," a famous New York restaurant. Admittedly there isn't a shot of the Empire State building beforehand so we couldn't be expected to know that. How do we prevent things like that from being posted on the site or edit them once they've been posted?
