Warners will be releasing all of their recent "Best Buy Exclusives" Sci-Fi Double Feature DVDs (which includes "World Without End" in anamorphic widescreen) to all retail outlets on October 7, 2008. So if you haven't been able to find any of them at Best Buy, just wait a few more weeks.
shareharistas; WWE from WB was well worth the purchase. Excellent restoration to near release print quality. Only thing wrong is that there are no extra features that we have grown accustom to. It was as BEST BUY.

shareharistas; That does simplify shopping! Watch out for RODAN our copy would not play subtitles and had to return. Entire lot was pulled from store we frequent.
shareI got my copy through a friend, who purchased his online at Best Buy. Apparently no one at Best Buy headquarters, or wherever they plan these things, told the clerks in the various stores that the only way to access info on the movie was to punch in Science Fiction from the 50's. If a clerk punched in the title of the movie only, the result would come up empty.
Btw, the disc I got was a double feature. The second movie was "Satellite in the Sky." I'm assuming when the disc hits Best Buy retail on 7 October, it will be the same disc.
Sherr007; Staff at BEST BUY are not the sharpest tacks in the pack. WWE is the featured film but 'SATELLITE IN THE SKY' is well worth watching. Interesting take by the English. Even back then they felt some sort of paranoia about the US (U.S,). Must be from no longer being #1 on the planet.
