when they show the giant circle "K" on the New York Sentinel building?

I guess RKO was doing a little artist recycling during its last years.

Yes, you are right --I just looked , and the "K" is not the exact same in both movies, but 95% the same -- both simple capital K's in a circle.

Yup! And right below that "K" in a circle is the name of the firm: KYNE, Inc. One letter off from KANE. Pretty obvious what's to be inferred.
