Question about What Was Said

When they are hunting for the man who is the werewolf and his wife and son are with them, the doctor's daughter runs up ahead and tells the sheriff, "Thanks for doing it this way". The sheriff then says, "Let's hope he's normal when we do find him". Then the doctor's daughter says something. Could anyone tell me what she says? Many Thanks.

"prayers help....he will be"!

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it. I've listened to it again and it might be "if prayers help...he will be". Either way, it is such a sad line.
