SOUNDTRACK

I have never seen this film and knew of it only by way a a brief clip included in the "Making of..." featurette on the deluxe Sound of Music DVD.

Imagine my surpeise when I came across a near-mint copy of the soundtrack LP at a thrift store this morning! Pure 1950's charm in every track. Needless to say, I have copied it to CD for permanant listening pleasure and it dovetails nicely with the super-rare LP recording of the ACTUAL Trapp Family singing the score of Sound of Music.
