Burt the Trapeze Artist

Hi there, when Lancaster was a trapese artist, before his acting career, he was performing once and heard someone in the audience whistling a tune. Distracted by the whistling, he fell. He said afterwards, that he "hated that tune!" Does anybody know what that tune was?
