The strip scene is absolutely the best I have ever seen. It grabs you and then he shows up and spews this jocular stuff about how he would have not taken the drink anyway. It reminds me of 7 days 6 nights when Ford knocks the scorpion off of whatshernames head because you know at that point they are going to get together.
shareThere's a nicely evocatic scene early on, where Bond goes into a room I took to be a club or mess room that has a portrait of Glen Edwards and hand prints of storied pilots along the walls. An effect only slightly marred by learning that they misspell Edwards's first name as Glenn, on both the portrait and the wall.
