Bizarre

Have to say this is one of the most strange and bizarre films I've seen, especially for 1950s England! The plot is almost impossible to follow and new characters keep being introduced, muddying the waters. What lovely little Muriel Pavlow is doing in this heaven knows! The London smog is a character in itself and makes it very atmospheric.
