Welsh country garage location

Does anyone know the location of the Welsh country garage that the two detectives visit in a vintage Rolls-Royce landaulet? Does it still exist?

I just saw this and noted that great location too, as well as a couple of others

See the other post on this board "Locations", he has info there. Wales must be a heck of a beautiful place

Sadly, the garage has gone. It used to be just past the Pen Y Gwryd hotel at the junction with the A4086 and A498. You can stay in the hotel, and see the signatures of John Stratton and Jack Hawkins on the ceiling where the Everest climbers also signed their names.

I am wondering if that Rolls Royce still exists. I recall reading somewhere that 60% of all the RR's ever made are still in existence!

Quite a long time after your posting but this site has details of the sites in The Long Arm:

This is one of my absolute all-time favourite 50s films. I love it when John Stratton says to Jack H. "The Grange, sir" in that ironic voice. If you look at the hotel on Google Maps you can see the uneven patch of growth opposite where the garage would have been. Note the postbox!
