Is this movie in widescreen or not?

When I saw this movie, it was in a 1.37 : 1 aspect ratio. But, according to the technical details on this webpage for the film, the aspect ratio is actually 1.85 : 1, Which would make it a widescreen feature. This means that the version I saw was horribly cropped.

So, could anyone tell me, when you saw this film, was it in widescreen or not? Do you have the official DVD release? And if so, is it in widescreen?
