Man those white Egyptians were sure dirty b*st*rds!

always was fascinated by the story of "baby Moses in the basket" as a child....I know this movie takes liberties (obviously with the casting lol)
but i don't think i was ever told this side of the story----Moses really rising up in power before ultimately becoming a slave in Egypt

those guys were sure pr*cks ;p

Yul Brynner does not look white, all the Egyptian characters were applied with a light bronzer and make-up to make them look like real Egyptians, the only really dark Egyptians would have been the slaves who worked out in the fields and got a lot of sun on them, some of the slaves probably would have been as dark black as the Nubian characters in the earlier scenes, but royals stayed shaded, so they're pretty much the correct color in the movie.
