The irony

Although I'm not homosexual myself, I've met quite a few homosexual men in my time and none of them were attracted to eleven years old boys. They were only attracted to other men. It's a myth that homosexuality and paedosexuality are the same thing. They are different sexual attractions. The relationship in the film between Jose and Nicholas was presented in the film as a purely platonic (non-sexual) one and that would have been the way it was perceived by cinema audiences nearly sixty years ago in 1956 and that's why Jose's girlfriend was there to reinforce the view that he was heterosexual. However, I do get your point. These days, thanks to the public brainwashing by the media over the past thirty years, a modern audience would see something in the relationship between Jose and Nicholas that wasn't there and look upon it with great suspicion.

You're not worth listening to. As an obvious Bible-thumper you prop-up more child abusers than has ever been identified in the LBGT community. The RC church is full of unpunished perverts... not homosexuals, just plain and simple child molestors who abused their position and power to harm minors. Given your incredulous gay-bashing, I almost wonder if you haven't got something to hide yourself, as those who falsely claim that all gays are paedos are usually trying to create a distraction from something they don't want others to see in them. You've simply proved to me something I already knew with your single-minded bigotry: Bible-thumpers are pretentious, self-righteous extremists and their intelligence is considerably over-stated.
