Wow, what a eulogy! Little Joey "wasn't a genius" and "he wasn't particularly handsome."

And what does the magazine have to do with the ugly little stupid boy getting hit by a car?

yeah, that was pretty rough.

dad was just making the connection that junior was killed while fighting to defend dad's honor; if the mag hadnt placed junior in that position, he wouldnt have been fighting so close to the car that hit him.

Ummm, the words ugly & stupid are never used in the movie. If you can't see how the scandal rag contributed to the son's death, you really weren't paying attention.
