Looks amazing on Blu-Ray!

I urge all fans of this great film to purchase it on Blu-Ray, for Ford's wonderful long shots and vistas (blue sky contrasted with the ochre and orangey landscapes) look all the more striking in High Def. Also, there's a featurette included wherein Scorsese, Curtis Hanson and John Milius share their thoughts on this seminal film and how influential John Ford was (on Kurosawa and the like). Great stuff.

I hated the film but the cinematography was truly breathtaking and it looks magnificent on BluRay.

Too bad the film looks completely inaccurate to how it usually looks due to them using the wrong elements to remaster it. This needs a 4K scan of new elements badly.
