Anyone liking this movie should seek out "I've Lived Before"
"I've lived Before" is another rather obscure film about the possibility of re-incarnation. It's not based on any supposed real events, just a work of fiction. It came out around the same time as this film, likely capitalizing on the (at the time) strong interest in re-incarnation.
The story concerns a pilot named John Bolan who seems to have flashback memories of a war pilot who died in 1918, a year or two before John Bolan was born.
This is a pretty rare film. I don't think it has ever been officially released in any home video format. It also seems to be rarely shown on TV. I saw it as a kid around 1964 when it was less then a decade old. It left an impression on me and as an adult, I did some internet research. It took me some time as I didn't remember the title. I did remember a character's name in the story (Peter Stephens).
The actors in it include Jock Mahoney, April Kent, John McIntire, Raymond Baily, Jerry Paris and Brad Morrow.
I found the story interesting and I was easily caught up in it. It would make an excellent double feature DVD with "The Search for Bridey Murphy"
I have a fair copy and was real glad to see the movie again. I hope it gets an official release. I'd order it without delay.
