I grew up in the 1970s and early 1980s watching every war movie they would show on Los Angeles television on the weekends and I had never heard about this movie until it showed up on Amazon recently under "we think you'll like this movie, too".

Sure, lots of Hollywood hokum that makes you roll your eyes (especially if you are a real veteran of the military) but it still was enjoyable for what it was.

Watching a very young Martin Milner and Bobby Blake, better known as "Beretta" and a would-be convicted murderer in real-life was a hoot.
