Coming to US DVD-R in August of 2010

The Warner Archives MOD (burned on demand) program is scheduled to release this rare Alan Ladd film in late August of 2010. Presumably, it will be in anamorphic widescreen 2:35-1.

I haven't seen it since catching it on TV in the early 1960's, so I won't pretend to be qualified to critique the film. My interest in it then, as well as now, centers on the starring role enacted by Rossana "HELEN OF TROY" Podesta. She plays some sort of "Cuban rebel girl" who also riles up Alan Ladd and Lloyd Nolan (I wonder which man she ends up with?).

It should still be available from Warner Archives, and also Critics Choice Video, and perhaps a couple of other etailers as well.
