I agree, you can't blame this movie for psychotic behavior. Also there is a fundamental difference between this movie and The Most Dangerous Game--in Run for the Sun there is no plan from the beginning to hunt people. The antagonists were just unlucky enough to have their secret found out. This movie is more akin to gangsters killing witnesses to silence them, than some sick game of hunting humans.
