Nice for nostalgia

I found this movie on a 4-movie DVD at my public library. It was Tuesday Weld's first movie, she must have been 12 or just barely 13 when it was filmed. I remember her mainly from her recurring part as Thalia Menninger on the old "Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" TV Series. I grew up in the 1950s and 1960s and, even though this is not a very good movie, it is good to see a young Weld and a sampling of popular musical groups from the mid-1950s.

Weld has two songs but they are actually dubbed by Connie Francis, a fine singer of her time who had not yet broken into movies as an actress. She did later in 1960's "Where the Boys Are" and made many appearances on TV as a singer. But in 1956 she was pretty much still an unknown.
