Does anyone know what the original screen format of this movie is?

There's no DVD out for this movie. So I like to burn a DVD for myself. The Western Channel is showing it in a standard fullscreen aspect ratio. If the original is in wide screen I'll wait for a DVD to come out some day. But if the original aspect ratio is 4:3 then I'll go ahead with DVDing it.

I just saw this film yesterday on the MOVIES! channel and it was widescreen and in a beautiful print. I was surprised to see it's not on DVD.
