Columbia Ranch?

Though it's not listed, I sure thought some of the town scenes were filmed at the Columbia Ranch in North Hollywood. One of the reviews mentions the Shipleys riding downhill on one of the town streets. Pretty sure that brick wall they are riding past on the hill is the wall Lee Marvin and his horse were leaning against in Cat Ballou. That wall also shows up next to Andre Duggan when Randy Scott blasts him at the end of 'Decision at Sundown'.

Surprised to read that Tom Shipley, Wayne Mallory, was Guy Madison's real life brother.

The Indian haters in town sure seemed to outnumber the more tolerant citizens. So getting rid of the Shipleys is going to make things better for Guy and his people? There seemed to be a lot of loudmouthed drunks in that town!

'Wild Bill Hickok' was a fave back when I was a kid. Always liked Guy Madison.

Couldn't agree more about the townsfolk. Also, it seems that shipleys never worked but spent all their time getting drunk in the saloon. For that matter, the town was constantly packed with people who never seemed to work!
