shareI enjoyed this movie which was filmed in color and has a good cast that includes Rory Calhoun, Martha Hyer, Dean Jagger and Robert Middleton. I thought that Grant Williams as the gunslinger Chet Swann was especially good.
shareAnother note of interest on two other cast members and since they are only in about the first 15 minutes of the movie I don't need to put spoiler warnings here.
One is Buck Purvis played by character actor James Milligan who appeared in many movies. Mr. Milligan passed away before this movie was released.
Another is one of the ranchers named Rod Zellman who is played by Leo Gordon who was another great character actor who usually nearly always played a bad guy. This movie is one of the few ones where he didn't get killed or taken to jail.
