Speechless!! This was a GOOD movie!!

Just watched this on Amazon.com. With my only exposure to John Smith being in the TV series "Laramie"; that goodie-two-shoes persona is a 180 to the ruthless, heartless "bad son" he is in 'Rebel in Town'. By the end of the movie I was like it is time for this dude to die! I did watch 'Fury at Sundown', but that was no where near his performance in this movie. Every cast member in every role was excellent. I did feel the wife was a little weak; but I felt more so that it was written that way versus her acting it that way. For all the mediocre movies that Encore Western plays... over and over again ad-nausea; This is one of the good movies they could definitely play as an improvement in one of those repeat spots!!
