No credit for the dog?

Come on, Aster always got a credit in the Thin Man films - we all know the dog's screen name, why not give him a credit?

Are you perhaps getting confused between "Reach for the sky" and "The Dam Busters"? It was the Dam Busters that featured the untimely death of the black Labrador dog owned by W/com Guy Gibson..... we all know the name of that dog!!

Incidentally, Gibson is quoted in Paul Brickhill's book "The Dam Busters" as requesting that his dog be buried at midnight on the night of the (still secret) raid, as he thought both he and the dog would be going to earth at about the same time.

It was the Dam Busters...
Thank goodness you put the OP right. For a moment I thought I was on the wrong boards.

And it was Asta in The Thin Man series. As in "ad asta per aspera".
