It is a sad occasion to write about this regarding one of the gr.movie stars of the 50's and 60's.

So under-rated and unappreciated;the Academy never saw to honor his many achievements.What a criminal oversight !

Tony was versatile-and always the Movie Star ! He was part of the glamour of the 1950's along w\talented wife,Janet Leigh.

Rawhide Years is special to me as i remember it as a young lad and was struck by the vitality and presence of this young "budding" star who was under contract to Universal.

Sadly,this flic is rarely shown and it is sooooo full of fun & frivolity(yet there are the serious moments).

Terrific Technicolor,strong cast and entertaining script.

...it all makes for a well crafted Western & motion picture.
