Weird

Flawed films usually start out strong, then lose the ball. I saw this
tonight on TCM and thought the film started out horribly - terrible
overacting, dumb dialogue ("You had him in your BODY. HE didn't" Oh,
brother). But after the inital cheeseball scenes, the film got quite
good in the middle, with a satisfactory ending (which I won't reveal).
Reed was so over the top in her early scenes, but so fantastic in the
middle and end. Interesting film.
