OK, I Saw Robert Blake, but Where Was Rod Taylor?

It was easy to spot Robert Blake doing a basic extra scene as the soldier with a welcoming Italian family, but the only glimpse I got of Rod Taylor was the back of his head in the scene where Paul Newman takes his wheelchair and rolls into a movie screening and gets a surprise from Lee Marvin. Look for the laughing head just in the first row, it sure sounds like Rod Taylor to me.

I think Rod Taylor was Al, Caroline (Cloris Leachman's) unseen husband, calling to her to come to bed, in the scene where Caroline is talking Anne Francis on the porch.

And he goes from being unseen in this to being in GIANT with Rock Hudson, Liz Taylor and James Dean? I'm thinking he had scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor.

There was a (live?) TV production of this play in April 1955. Here is a review from a miami newspaper.
