It was easy to spot Robert Blake doing a basic extra scene as the soldier with a welcoming Italian family, but the only glimpse I got of Rod Taylor was the back of his head in the scene where Paul Newman takes his wheelchair and rolls into a movie screening and gets a surprise from Lee Marvin. Look for the laughing head just in the first row, it sure sounds like Rod Taylor to me.
shareI think Rod Taylor was Al, Caroline (Cloris Leachman's) unseen husband, calling to her to come to bed, in the scene where Caroline is talking Anne Francis on the porch.
