The Best?
Another great Robert Ryan performance and fun with Walter Brennan. I really feel that this is the best A/B budget western of all time and coming out on DVD on 23rd May 2006...at long last.
sharei agree. one of the best scenes is when Ryan finds Brennan dead on the jail-house floor.
i'm a big fan of westerns as i grew up watching them but i can't recall ever seeing this one. it is always exciting seeing a new 'old' westerner for the first time.
this movie is excellent. i can't think of one flaw. and not one bar room brawl, can you imagine? just great acting and an excellently directed script.

Just finished watching it only part way through and I hadn't seen it before. Good movie.
