With little variaion Mayo was constantly ticked off at Robert Ryan. After a while her attitude got old for me, and I half expected Ryan to realize that a marriage to Mayo would be no picnic and dump her--even though Mayo sure looked great.

Despite the above, I generally agree with the many positive comments about this movie in other threads. It is a terrific western.

Except for a couple of performances; The Best Years of Our Lives and White Heat, I've never thought that she was much of an actor. However, I've always thought that she was pretty hot looking.

P.S. Robert Ryan is my favorite actor. I never get tired of watching him ply his craft.
