COMET is showing it!

COMET continues adding "gems" to its schedule. I got in late on this one because I just watched "The Drownsman" on Chiller Channel.

If anyone needs a schedule, here's a link to COMET's:

By the way, up next is "The Beast With a Million Eyes"!

Ninety minutes and counting. Love Comet showing all these old flicks. Last week was At the Earth's Core in all its cheesy glory.

I'm always surprised when I look at the listings. I noticed "CQ" will be shown, and that's not sci fi though it focuses on the making of a science fiction film. Actually, "Dragonfly" is a hidden treat as they reveal scenes. I was reminded of "Barbarella", but a lot of people also mention "Modesty Blaise" and others of that time period.

I never expected "CQ" to be on COMET! But, then, that channel has shown so many "treasures" from the past~ranging from fool's gold to the real stuff.

I do wish they would air "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" and perhaps its sequel, which I haven't seen yet. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy their other offerings in SF/fantasy/horror.

At the Earth's Core was a lot of fun. This one was kinda dull whenever Wanda or the monster weren't on screen. I do like that they showed the creature at the beginning. It was refreshing for once to not hold off and wait until later. But once they showed it, they really didn't show it again that much. So the whole kicking things off with a bang idea didn't quite work out as well as it could have.
