Any Connection to 'Fear In The Night' (1947) With DeForest Kelly ?

In the 1947...Long before Star Trek TV, Deforest Kelly did a movie where he awoke from a dream of stabbing a man. He find a key in his pocket and a memory of a lot of mirror in a house. He gets his brother-in-law to help him find out did he kill someone? Is this a a copy-cat movie?

That's exactly what I was wondering. I've seen the movie with Kelly, but not this one. From the description you would think this was a remake of the Kelly film. Maybe it is.

I just did a search, and the first thing that came up was Wikadumia's page on the film which says this:

"The story is based on a novel by William Irish (aka Cornell Woolrich). The book also became a 1947 film, Fear in the Night."

So, yeah, it's a remake.
