Bizarre setup

Elderly surgeon on a pleasant Wyoming camping trip with much younger male best friend in the middle of winter. They’re chatting away about the surgeon’s much younger wife having the hots for the best friend when a car suddenly appears in the middle of nowhere, crashes off an embankment and two shady bank robbers emerge having just robbed a bank somewhere. This setup was so bizarre and contrived.
