An appreciation of NIGHTFALL:

That was a pretty good write-up and summation of Nightfall.

I have to say that I enjoyed the film very much. Sure, it was flawed and a little thin here and there, but all in all, it worked for me.

I thought that Brian Keith played his part a bit too soft. They were playing the crooks as "good cop, bad cop", but Keith had real power as an actor and I wish that they'd turned it on for his part. Rudy Bond was truly hateful as the "evil crook". I only wish that they'd shown him get his at the end with a little more graphic depiction, like, maybe a big stream of red that would have come out of the snow muncher that ate him! If Nightfall were made ten or twelve years later, we would have gotten just that.

JACKBOOT..

I don't know if the extra blood would have given me any pleasure...Rudy's blood curdling scream was good enough for me!
