This film is based on a novel by David Goodies, the same author of "Down There," the novel that served as basis for Francoise Truffaut's "Shoot the Piano Player." The Truffaut film was inspired on 2 American low-budget film-noirs, "Detour" (Ulmer) and "Nightfall" (Jacques Tourneur). From "Nightfall" Truffaut took the snow and the two killers who follow the main characters. From "Detour" he took the piano player and the doomed armosphere. Actually, the plot of "Nightfall" makes little sense. It's amust-see anyway.

I taped it and forgot about it, found it yesterday, excellent noir
