The maid's name
Why did the girls tell the maid that her name (Yamanaka Rika) is difficult so instead they'd rather call her Oharu? What's so difficult about Rika as a name?

It is likely a reference to Kenji Mizoguchi's The Life of Oharu (1952), in which the titular character, living in feudal Japan, is sold into prostitution after having an affair with a man of low social standing.
