The Name of Cynthia Patrick's Character

As noted elsewhere, in the film itself her name is spoken as "Adel."

In the printed screen credits it is listed as "ADAD.'

To further complicate things, in the official photo story magazine version issued in the early 1960's the name was inexplicably given as "Gizelle!"

Any insight as to the name games?
