Blu Ray available

In Australia, it's been released by Shock / Hollywood Gold Series. Says Region B on the box, so it won't play on regular Blu Ray players in the (US unless it's actually region free as is sometimes the case with these things - if anyone can establish this one way or the other please post below).

Cheap right now at JB Hi Fi - 7 Aussie dollars. No extras, no subs. It says 16:9 ratio on the box but there are thin bars at the sides so it's less - I can't say what the actual ratio is - it's a fair bit wider than 1:37, maybe it's 1:66? In some scenes it still looks a bit cropped to me - kind of tightly framed. However, I don't recall any scenes in which this tightness created any serious problems with enjoying the action, such as people talking with their faces half off the screen as has been described with regards to pan and scan/cropped to 1:37 dvd's. It's not restored in any way by the looks of it, and looks worn in places, but it still looked very good to me overal. JB have an online store, but I'm not sure if they do international delivery.

Really enjoyed the film.
